Announcements for April and May

 Happy Easter!

• ·         Congratulations to all students who participated in FSMTA District VI Performance Evaluations. I am very proud of your Honors accomplishments Levels 1 through 12!

• ·         Congratulations to former student, Andrew Boss who is performing his Senior Recital at Florida Southern College in Lakeland this Wednesday evening. Andrew was just accepted to Peabody Conservatory for his graduate studies.

• ·         Due to scheduling conflict, our Spring Recital will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Pompano Beach at 7:00 PM. Please mark this on your calendars and invite friends and family to join you for this fun evening of music making and celebrating all we have accomplished throughout the 2010-2011 school year. If you are participating, the recital fee will be due with your May tuition. The deadline will be the first lesson in May, no exceptions, unless you speak to me about them, as I will be ordering trophies and awards at that time.

• ·         Just a reminder: Lessons will continue weekly through the second week of June.

• ·         Please make note that registration for the 2011-2012 school year will be due on July 1, 2011. There are several students on the waiting list hoping for a spot in the studio for next year. If you know you are not returning in the fall, please let me know as soon as possible. Registration will be open for new students on July 2^nd, 2011.

Congratulations Meghan Hanley for being selected to perform with the Florida Youth Orchestra's Spotlight on...Florida Youth Orchestra

Meghan performed in the Spotlight on...Florida Youth Orchestra concert at the

Coral Springs Center for the Arts on March 6, 2011 in the Symphony Orchestra Solo Performances.

She performed Le Salon de Musique by Eugenie. R. Rocherolle. Kudos, Meghan!!!!!

1. Congratulations to Luke Ferraguti for receiving the first Honorable Mention in the Advanced II category of the Pompano Piano Competition. Way to go Luke!

2. Student Day evaluations are scheduled for March 26-27, 2011 at Florida Atlantic University

3. If you are participating in Guild Auditions, the deadline for getting your entry fee into me is April 1, no kidding :)! I need to know if you are participating in Guild auditions as soon as possible

4. March Tuition is now due

1. Congratulations on a fine showing at Musicthon. Our studio raised $966.00!!! I am very proud of all of you, especially Tori Purchase, who raised $125.00!
