November News

Dear Parents,

Happy Fall and almost Thanksgiving!

Please see below some reminders for the month of November:

 1. Tuition payment #3 of 10 is now due.

 2.    The date of our Christmas Recital is Monday evening, December 18, 2017, I will post the information online under the recitals tab as well as on the Announcements page. The website is: www.klassicallycool.com.

3.    I am still looking for a 2 CD set that I loaned to a student. Piano Literature Vol. 4 by the James and Jane Bastien. It goes along with the Piano Literature Vol 4 books.

4.    There will be no lessons the week of Thanksgiving November 20-24th. Please see the studio calendar.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends. I, for one, give thanks to God for the blessings that He so richly bestowed upon us!

Love,

Mrs. Purchase

September News - We did not blow away!

Dear Parents,

I am trusting that all of you weathered Hurricane Irma and are settling back in. While we are so very thankful to God for His mercy in allowing the storm to avoid making a direct hit as a category 4-5, our thoughts and prayers are with those all over the state who were not as fortunate.

Barring a visit from the new hurricane churning out there, Maria, things should soon settle down into normal routine. I for one, cannot wait!

Some reminders for the month of September:

  1. Our first theory class has been rescheduled for this coming Saturday, September 23. I am attaching the schedule. Please remember to RSVP. If there are less than two students for a class, it will be cancelled.

  1. Tuition payment number 1 of 10 is now past due. Given the circumstances, there will be no late fee assessed unless the payment is not made this week at your child’s lesson.

  1. Activities Fees are also past due. These must be paid in order to participate in any studio events such as recitals, theory materials, theory classes, etc. Please contact me if you have any questions. Information regarding the Activities Fee is online at www.klassicallycool.com

WELCOME BACK! August 21-24, 2017

Dear Parents and Students,

I am so excited to see each and every one of you next week!
As we begin the year, just a few reminders:
1. Please arrive promptly for your lesson, with all necessary materials. Students who are in the Conservatory and Competition Track must bring their Music Masters Theory packet to every class.
2. Please make sure fingernails are trimmed.
3. I understand that children coming directly from school may be hungry and in need of a snack. Please feel free to enjoy our front or back patio while consuming your snack and beverage. Parents can always bring their beverages inside and children can bring water.
4. Waiting parents and students, please wait in the family room adjacent to the studio and not the living room by the front door.
5. Waiting siblings must be closely monitored by the parent. There are parks close by and a brand new library to enjoy if they get restless.
6. If the driveway is full, please do not park on the grass. You are welcome to park on the swale area on the North side of our property along NE 8th Street. It was designed to accommodate additional parking.
7. Please make sure to check the website www.klassicallycool.com Announcement Page once a week for any updates regarding lessons, recitals and events. The Calendar of Events will be posted on the website as well as the Schedule and Swap List. You can access it by clicking open the tab to the right of the page. Please wait a few days to look at it online as I updated it just today and still need to upload it.
I am thrilled to welcome and challenge all of you as we explore creating wonderful music together.

July Announcements

Happy Summer!

Hopefully you are enjoying a fun-filled, relaxing summer. I am looking forward to the same this coming week, when I head to Panama to see one of my Skype students and explore the area with Mr. P.

The Fall Calendar of Events is almost ready to be posted and the Schedule and Swap List is set to be posted the first week in August, after I return. Some things to remember:

  1. We are starting lessons a week sooner than usual this year, due to the fact that we will have no lessons from September 5-11. I am co-chairing the Florida State Music Teachers Association State Conference at the Legendary Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. Please consider taking a mini family vacation to the hotel and in addition to the many wonderful family amenities, take in some of the many concerts and workshops and programs offered for student musicians and teachers. We negotiated a conference hotel room rate of $129 per night, so it is an amazing deal! Let me know if you are interested in attending and I will give you the conference code to get the rate!
  2. Please remember that your Activities Fee is due by August 1. If you are taking Summer lessons, you can pay it at the lesson. Please visit the website at www.klassicallycool.com for the information on the Activities Fees
