MUSICTHON 2017

Dear Parents and Students,

BCMTA MUSICTHON “Raising Awareness for the Arts”

It is time for our annual fund-raiser! BCMTA’s motto is “Raising Awareness for the Arts”. All proceeds will benefit BCMTA student activities and ArtServe of Fort Lauderdale, with a donation being earmarked for the Broward Music Project; a new program providing free piano lessons for underprivileged children in the Fort Lauderdale area due to launch by the end of 2016. Please visit www.ArtServe.org to learn more about this local non-profit organization.

MUSICTHON will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Jan 20-22, 2017) at The Westfield Mall, 8000 West Broward Blvd. in Plantation. The mall is conveniently located at the SW corner of South University Drive and West Broward Boulevard.

Each student is required to collect a minimum of $15.00 to perform in the event. Each studio is required to emcee their own students and volunteer one hour at the BCMTA table following their scheduled time.

All money raised must be collected PRIOR to MUSICTHON. No money is to be collected, counted or left for pick up at the event. Please make sure that all checks are made payable to BCMTA. Every MUSICTHON student and teacher participant will receive a gift for their particapation.

Please begin your fundraising before Thanksgiving. Students will be seeing friends and family over the holidays that may like to contribute. Please print out the Sponsor Letter and the Student Pledge Form to give to your students. Thank you for your support!
