Welcome Back for 2026-2027!

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back! It was so great to see you last week at our first week back to learning to love the piano!

I would like to bring a few items to your attention as we head into the school year:

1.  Please make sure your child brings all the materials to their class each week;

        Books, Music, Theory Packets, Notebook, etc. This is very important.

2. Please ensure you set aside a regularly scheduled practice time (4-6 times per

        week), commensurate with their age and level of achievement. If you are unsure, please ask me.

3. If at all possible, please have your child practice that very evening, right after their lesson, 

        so that the instruction is still fresh in their minds, and please look at their

        notebook page to see what was written. If there is nothing new written, it is 

        because we are still working on the same lesson from last week.

4. For parents of young children, please sit with them while they practice and 

        encourage them. This generally applies to students from preschool through middle school. Again,

        if you are unsure, please ask me.

5. Please remember to check your email and our website (www.klassicallycool.com) 

        for updated information, at least once a week. I will also text you to remind you to

        check ;-)

6. Please remember that tuition is due at the first lesson of each month, Sept-June.

        To avoid the $25 late fee, please pay promptly before the 10th of the month.

  

​On a personal note, I have Celiac Disease and cannot tolerate any gluten-containing items in our home as they can make me, and other family members very ill. Please do not bring any food or gifts containing wheat, rye, barley or malt into our home. If you need to eat, please do so before your lesson.
